Professor/Reader in Archaeological Sciences

We are seeking to appoint a Chair of Archaeological Sciences with flair
and vision in research. This post represents an exciting opportunity to
play a key role in research leadership in a highly active (RAE Grade 5;
QAA Excellent) department. The Department is unique in its broad
coverage of the field of archaeological sciences. Therefore, we are
seeking a candidate with a strong research record and leadership in one
or more of the following areas: bioarchaeology, biological
anthropology, geoarchaeology, material culture, or in complementary
fields.

An appointment as Reader will be considered for candidates with a
strong research profile but who do not yet satisfy all the criteria for
a Chair. Salary will be as appropriate on the readership/professorial
salary scale.
