REGOLITH SCIENCE SCHOLARSHIPS AT THE ANU, Canberra, Australia CRC for
Landscape Environments and Mineral Exploration (CRC LEME)

CRC LEME is offering up to two Postgraduate Scholarships to students
wishing to study at the Australian National University. We encourage
applicants with backgrounds in geoscience, geography, chemistry,
biology, mathematics and/or physics.

CRC LEME seeks breakthroughs in environmental management and mineral
exploration through knowledge of the regolith. In this round of
applications, the general areas of research are: environmental and
mineral exploration geochemistry and biogeochemistry of the regolith and
groundwater; salinity assessment and mitigation; and regolith and
landscape evolution: timescales and processes.

Successful applicants may undertake field, analytical, experimental and
modelling studies, with possible fieldwork in remote Australian
locations. Students will be co-supervised by industry or government
partners. CRC LEME Postgraduate Scholarships are valued at $18,000 per
annum (tax free), or a top-up of up to $5,000 for students with other
scholarships, for three years, with up to $10,000 per annum in Operating
Funds (conditions apply).
