APAI PhD Scholarship ($ 31,118 pa): Environmental 
Evolution of the Willandra Lakes World Heritage Area.

A PhD is available in conjunction with a 
successful ARC Linkage Grant between the Three 
Traditional Tribal Groups (3TTG) of the Willandra 
Area, the Department of Environment and 
Conservation and The Australian National 
University, La Trobe, Bond and The University of 
Queensland. The PhD will focus on the 
environmental record preserved in this region and 
will be carried out in close collaboration with 
the Elders of the 3TTG. The PhD student will be 
based at the Research School of Earth Sciences at 
The Australian National University.
