Dear Quaternarists,
I would like to solicit contributions for the 2010 issues of Quaternary Australasia.
As you are aware, we publish reports (on workshops, conferences and other events),
interviews, thesis abstracts and peer-reviewed research papers. Quaternary Australasia provides
an excellent forum for students in particular to have their work published, particularly now that
we have moved to an online, as well as the traditional paper, format, ensuring a larger audience.
QA is suitable for papers of national or local importance that may not be suitable for an international audience.
>Papers published in QA are peer-reviewed and count as publications for the purposes of the ARC.
The deadline for peer reviewed research papers has now passed for the July 2010 issue, but we will be accepting
manuscript submissions for the December issue up until end September. Other contributions (reports, thesis abstracts)
are still being accepted for the July issue. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you would be interested in
>contributing, or if you know of any students (including recently
>completed Honours students) who may not be aware of QA and could be
>encouraged to submit their work. Likewise, if anyone would like to
>publicise any of their recently published papers or books, please get in touch with myself and/or Assistant Editor Jess Reeves (jessica.reeves at rmit.edu.au).
Kind regards,
Kat Fitzsimmons
