Calling all climate graduate students,
Abstract submission is now open for the 4th Graduate Climate Conference!
GCC4 is scheduled for October 15-17th 2010 at the University of
Washington's Pack Experimental Forest on the slopes of Mount Rainier,
Washington. This is a unique conference /for/ grad students, organized
and run /by/ grad students. Please see attached flier for a more
detailed description.
Entering into its 4th installment, the GCC remains true to its mission:
provide a discussion forum for graduate students undertaking research on
climate and climate change in an array of disciplines, including
atmospheric, biological, earth and ocean sciences. The conference is
unique because only graduate students are present, providing a rare
opportunity for the next generation of climate scientists to interact
without the inhibitions that accompany the presence of faculty and
senior scientists.
The deadline for abstract submission is June 1, 2010.
