[Aqualist] 2014 AQUA Biennial Meeting Proposals

Proposals for the next AQUA Biennial meeting will be called for at the February 2012  meeting in Lake Tekapo. The next meeting is scheduled to be hosted in Australia. Those interested in organising a meeting should have a brief proposal document available for distribution at the meeting. Preferably you will have a short PowerPoint presentation together that you either present on behalf of your organising committee, or if you are not attending the Lake Tekapo meeting, is presented by someone on your behalf. Your presentation should specify:

*         Where and when the meeting will be held

*         Joint sessions or conference partners

*         Conference facilities available

*         Food and accommodation options

*         Transport options

*         Field trips on offer

*         Schedule of costs

*         Sightseeing/entertainment options for partners and families.

The meeting will consider the proposals and send a recommendation to the AQUA executive as to the favoured option.
