Hi All,

Apologies for cross-posting.

The XIX INQUA Congress on Quaternary Perspectives on Climate Change, Natural Hazards and Civilization will be held from 27 July - 2 August, 2015, in Nagoya, Japan
This is a call for abstracts for session T17 on THE LEGACY OF MOUNTAIN GLACIATION.

Mountain glaciers are widely recognized as sensitive indicators of climate change and dated glacial limits are often used as prima facie evidence for regional or global correlation (or non-correlation) of climate events. Mountain glacial systems have more to offer. Their distinctive geomorphologies and sediment packages can tell us much about their modes of formation and history. This can contribute to understanding climatic forcers of glaciation, as well as tectonic regimes, geomorphological processes-system and regional hazards. Recent work has significantly enhanced our understanding of these complex systems and this session seeks to bring these developments together.

The session is aimed at both glacial workers and those interested in post and para-glacial environments.

We hope this session will be of interest to you. Please submit your abstract before December 20, 2014 at:
