Hi AQUAlisters,

The Mildura meeting conference organising team has been busy over the break, and I'm happy to announce that we have now opened registration for our 30th Anniversary meeting. We anticipate having abstract submission open in the next week or two.

Registration will cover attendance at the sessions, beer-o-clock debates, the icebreaker, trivia night and the mid-conference field trip. The conference dinner aboard P.S. Mundoo is a small additional cost, and can be completed along with the registration process. Thanks to the Grand Hotel Mildura, ANSTO and Beta Analytic for their sponsorship and helping keep registration costs low.
Registration forms & details on how to register are available from the conference website (http://aqua.org.au/?page_id=355).

Key issues to note:

- The PDF registration form that is up on the website now works only as a printed paper document that you return by post, fax, or scan & email. We will upload a PDF or word document that can be edited and digitally signed (i.e. without printing) by early February - check back to the website in a couple of weeks if this is your preferred option.

- AQUA, in conjunction with AINSE are also offering student travel prizes of up to $500 each. Details and application forms are available on the website.

- Registration for pre and post conference field trips will occur separately - please visit the web site and contact the field trip organiser directly.

- For those that aren't currently members of AQUA, we strongly encourage you to (re)new your membership prior to registration. As well as being the cheaper option, you'll have the added value of being an AQUA member and receiving two bumper issues of Quaternary Australasia. Membership can be completed online, and again is easiest to find via the AQUA webpage (http://aqua.org.au/?page_id=21).

happy registering!
Duanne
