[Aqualist] Notice of Special General Meeting at Mildura Conference - 3rd July.

Hi All,



Following a resolution at the AGM last month we intend to hold a Special General Meeting in the evening of Thursday the 3rd of July.



The primary purpose of the meeting will be to enable a broad cross section of AQUA to  discuss and vote on proposed changes to the AQUA constitution. A draft of the proposed changes will be circulated during the next weeks. The aim of the proposed changes is twofold:



1)  To provide direction to the committee on a range of AQUA activities that are currently highly discretionary. For example, providing direction on the process of how and when to award life memberships.



2)  To update aspects that have become outdated, such as the current inability to count virtual attendance at AGMs through skype etc. toward quorum.



If you have any other agenda items that you would like discussed at the meeting please let me know.
