Dear AQUAlisters,

I am looking for a PhD candidate with a background in earth sciences/chemistry to work on marine sediment cores that will be collected near the Totten Glacier, East Antarctica to (i) understand past dynamics of the Totten Glacier and (ii) characterise the geology of the hinterland hidden beneath the ice. A PhD scholarship is available from the Australian Research Council (ARC) Special Research Initiative for Antarctic Gateway Partnership.

Interested applicants can contact me (Taryn.Noble at utas.edu.au).

Many thanks,

Taryn
