IAL-IPA Early Career Virtual Meeting: 28th, 29th, 30th April, 2022.

Calling all Palaeolimnology and Limnogeology Early Career Researchers.

We are pleased to announce that plans for the IAL-IPA congress 2022 in Bariloche, Argentina are well under way. As you may know this conference was postponed due to the Covid pandemic, and is now planned to take place in-person from 27th November to 1st December 2022. However, the organisation committee wishes to create a virtual event especially for Early Career Researchers (ECRs) who can't/unsure/are still planning on attending the in-person congress in Bariloche, Argentina, 2022, but would like the opportunity to present and network in a mud-loving ECR space.

We would therefore like to invite you to register your interest in attending a 3-day online ECR meeting. Each day will consist of 4-5 hours including one Keynote speaker, and Oral and Poster presentations by ECRs, with time at the end for people to stay and chat. We will do our best to accommodate all time zones.
Each day will be based on one of the following themes:
1) Lakes and Climate Change
2) Lakes and Ecological Change
3) Pushing the boundaries - novel techniques and sites
