It is our pleasure to announce that the University of Adelaide Earth Science Seminar Series<https://set.adelaide.edu.au/events/list/2023/03/earth-sciences-seminars-2023> this week will be presented by Victor Vincent<https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Victor-Vincent> and Dr Ulrich Harms<https://www.gfz-potsdam.de/en/staff/ulrich.harms>. Victor is a PhD student at University College Dublin and will be giving a talk on Geology and geochemistry of a vein-type Zn-Pb-Cu deposit from the Benue Trough of Nigeria. Ulrich is the Head of Operational Support Group for the International Continental Scientific Drilling Program at GFZ Potsdam and will present on Basic research in Earth Sciences using Continental Scientific Drilling. This seminar will occur on Friday 13th of October at 3PM ACST in the Mawson Lecture Theatre (The University of Adelaide) and on Zoom. Attached in the email are short abstracts on their upcoming talks as well as the schedule of presentations planned for the second half of Semester 2, 2023.
