[Aqualist] ANZGG Travel awards

Dear AQUA community,

The Australian and New Zealand Geomorphology Group (ANZGG) is offering 16 travel awards (8 x $750 AUD for Australian-based students and 8 x $500 AUD for NZ-based students) to attend the 11th International Conference on Geomorphology in Christchurch, New Zealand (2-6th February 2026).

Eligibility criteria:

  *   Currently enrolled Bachelor (Hons), Masters or PhD student (enrolment status required)
  *   Current member of ANZGG
  *   Submitted abstract (poster or oral) as lead author.
  *   Australian students are eligible for $750 towards registration, accommodation and travel expenses.
  *   New Zealand students are eligible for $500 towards registration, accommodation and travel expenses.

Application requirements and evaluation criteria:

  1.  One [1] page proposal on research being presented (to include aims of research, summary of key results and their significance and stage of candidature)
  2.  Attached submitted abstract
  3.  CV

  *   Please combine requirements 1 - 3 into a pdf and email to: Dr Kathy Russell @ anzgg at anzgg.org<mailto:anzgg at anzgg.org>
  *   Your application will be evaluated based primarily on your 1 page proposal, quality of the abstract with additional consideration given to your track record relative to opportunity (from your CV)

Deadline: Monday 15th September, 2025 (5 pm AEST)
