Dear PALCOM Session Convenors,

Following the publication of our bulletin this week, we are writing to ask
for your assistance in identifying and contacting Early Career Researchers
(ECRs), who have submitted abstracts to your sessions, to apply for the
PALCOM ECR Award.

This award provides a significant opportunity to support young
paleoscientists by offering a complimentary registration fee waiver for the
INQUA Congress (€350-450).

We kindly ask that you share the following information with any eligible
ECRs among your session contributors:

PALCOM ECR Award

If you are an early-career researcher (within eight years of receiving your
last degree) and have already submitted an abstract for the upcoming INQUA
Congress, we encourage you to apply for the INQUA Early Career Researcher
(ECR) Awards 2027.

These awards recognise ECRs who have demonstrated outstanding achievements
and have actively contributed to INQUA activities, such as publishing in
INQUA journals, convening sessions at the INQUA Congress, or participating
in INQUA-funded projects.

*       Each award offers: * A certificate of recognition
*       A complimentary registration fee waiver for the INQUA Congress
*       An invitation to present in a special session featuring outstanding
INQUA ECRs
