Hello,
I am writing to ask if you would be willing to circulate the attached opportunity to students within your courses or networks.
The Centre for Accelerator Science (CAS) at ANSTO is currently advertising a Year in Industry Intern position as part of our 12-month internship program (July 2026 – July 2027).
Ideal Candidate:

  *   Penultimate-year science student
  *   Studying Chemistry, Earth Science, Environmental Science or related discipline
  *   Australian Citizen
The internship provides hands-on experience in a world-class research environment, including laboratory-based sample preparation and analysis, and exposure to advanced techniques such as Accelerator Mass Spectrometry (AMS). It is an excellent opportunity for students to gain practical skills and industry experience before completing their studies.
Key details are:

  *   Duration: 12 months (July 2026 – July 2027)
  *   Salary: $58,893 per annum + 15.4% superannuation
  *   Location: Sutherland Shire, Sydney
  *   Eligibility: Australian citizens, penultimate-year science students, willing to defer studies for the duration of the program
