Mitsuaki Okabe
Keio University
Friday, 22 February 2002
12.302.00pm
Ross Hohnen Room, Chancelry Building

Although the Japanese economy has been stalled severely over the last
ten years, there has been steady and marked changes in the way
business corporations and financial institutions conduct their
business transactions. What are these changes? Why have they occurred?

these issues from a new perspective, as the title of his forthcoming
book, Cross Shareholdings in Japan: A New Unified Perspective of the
Economic System, suggests.
