WORKSHOP ANNOUNCEMENT

Thailand Today: New Perspectives and Approaches

18-19 February 2003

Manning Clark Centre, Lecture Theatre 6
Australian National University

This workshop will offer an opportunity for scholars to talk about
their current research with special reference to new approaches to the
study of Thailand and Tai peoples.  Postgraduate students are
particularly encouraged to attend.

Sponsored by the Faculty of Asian Studies, the Research School of
Pacific and Asian Studies, and the National Thai Studies Centre, the
workshop is open to all.  A draft program is below.
