sector in East Timor? What support can the VET professional community
provide?

You are welcome to join an early evening seminar with drinks.
The seminar will-
*Provide a snap-shot of the social/ historical/ political elements shaping
VET provision in East Timor
*Provide information about current VET activity in East Timor
*Present options for those wishing to contribute to support VET in East
Timor
*Foster collaboration and cooperation between those VET professionals who
are keen to share their expertise in support of VET in East Timor
Speakers:
*Annie Keogh - Advisor to the Dili Institute of Technology (DIT). Until
recently a Victoria University staff member funded by the Victorian State
Government to work on VET in East Timor. Annie will return to DIT in August.
*Brendan Evans - Automotive teacher from Kangan Batman TAFE
*Michael Callahan - Teacher from Building Structures and Services, NMIT

VISTA Association of VET Professionals - supporting managers & leaders in
vocational education and training.
