Aboriginal & Multicultural Studies are proud to present
A FREE one day Symposium titled Education in Post-Conflict Environments:
Challenges and Opportunities for Timor-Leste.
Aim of the symposium is to bring together academics, postgraduates and
people interested in discussing the challenges and opportunities surrounding
post-conflict environments, particularly though not exclusively in the
context of Timor-Leste.
The deadline for Proposals/Papers is April 14th
Themes:
* Language/s and the delivery of educational programming
* Non-formal, adult and vocational education
* Friendship agreements
* International covenants and agreements
* Cultural and religious identities
* What can be learned from other post-conflict environments?
