>This two-day conference for researchers is organised by the Timor-Leste Studies Association (TLSA). The TLSA an interdisciplinary, international research network focussed on all aspects of research into East Timorese society, including politics and history, economics, communications, health, language, agriculture and science. There will be a special stream on the theme of Peace-building, hosted by the Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies of the National University of Timor Lorosa?e (UNTL), along with a Festschrift panel celebrating the contribution of James Dunn and Helen Hill to Timor-Leste studies. The Understanding Timor-Leste 2013 conference will be co-hosted by the National University of Timor-Lorosa?e, Swinburne University of Technology, and the Technical University of Lisbon.
