# Launch the new book entitled The Politics of Timor-Leste: Democratic Consolidation after Intervention edited by Michael Leach and Damien Kingsbury  (Cornell University Press, 2013, RRP $35.95pb/ $65.00hb, imported by Footprint Books).

Second Lecture (December 2005) with Lance Collins, Warren Reed, Peter Cronau, Sister Josephine Mitchell.

Third Lecture (December 2006) with Dr Chris Fenton, Laura Abrantes, Mana Cassian, Jude Conway, Sister Susan Connelly.

Fourth Lecture (November 2007) with Kirsty Sword-Gusmao, Councillors Anne Connon, Kate Traill, Lyn Elsegood, His Excellency Abel Guterres, Ego Lemos (a joint event with Mosman-Marbara Friendship Partners Launch).

Fifth Lecture(December 2008) with James Thomas (Channel 7-TV ‘Gui Campos’ Story), John Maynard (Balibo Film), Ceu Federer, Jean Berlie (First book on Timor in Mandarin).

Sixth Lecture (February 2010) Senator Kerry Nettle, Sara Niner, Emily Werlemann, Robert Domm.

Seventh Lecture (March 2011) Shirley Shackleton, Nigel Stewart.

This coming December 2013 will mark the 10th Anniversary since Dr McNaughtan’s untimely death. The Dr Andrew McNaughtan East Timor Education Fund is administered by a board which includes Nigel Stewart (chair) and Sister Josephine Mitchell (Mary MacKillop East Timor Mission) and Jude Conway (author). All of the above events have been organised by the Special Projects Office of AETA (NSW) with Jefferson Lee taking responsibility. Some events have been recorded on film. Some events have been assisted by music from Jeannie Lewis, Solidarity Choir, etc. I would like to thank Rozamunda Waring for filming Lectures one and two, Mandy King and Fabio Cavidini and Jock Cheetham for filming other lectures.
