Dear subscribers,

We are pleased to announce the 5th Pre-Conference Virtual Workshop of the
Timor-Leste Studies Initiative @ the Association for Asian Studies on March
11-18th, 2022. The project has several aims including the promotion of
Timor-Leste Studies in the Americas, the development of teaching materials
and distance language learning (i.e. Tetum), and the support for archival
projects on Timor-Leste and East Timorese scholars.

The workshop will be held online. 11th, 12th, and 18th March (East Timor
time)

The workshop which will be held online via ZOOM (links to come). Papers
will be circulated among panelists before the workshop. Each panel will be
assigned a discussant and panelists will provide directed feedback on the
papers.
