Timor-Leste’s economy is currently highly dependent on oil exploration and the revenues that come from it. In this way, UNTL, with the PPGP and the CNIC, promoted a workshop where there was a space for reflection based on the assumption of “An Oil-Free Timor-Leste: how to be sustainable”, where an analysis was made based on several fundamental pillars, these being: - Economic Analysis of Timor-Leste; - Policy and Governance ; - Foreign Policy; - Health ; - Human Capital . This document presents a series of policy recommendations on each topic discussed within the five areas mentioned above. These points are intended to be the starting point for an open and constructive discussion for a better future for Timor-Leste.
