ESRC Centre for Genomics in Society PhD Studentship Opportunities

 

Studentships are available to start in the academic year 2009/10 at the
ESRC Centre for Genomics and Society (Egenis), University of Exeter, UK.
These include two ESRC linked studentships (3 or 1+3) and 3-year full
fee and maintenance School of Humanities and Social Science studentships
for home and international students. 

 

We are looking to recruit students with strong undergraduate degrees
(for ESRC 1+3 only) or Master's degrees (for 3 year PhDs) in disciplines
including sociology, philosophy, psychology, history, economics,
politics, and biology to be part of our interdisciplinary research
community. Egenis has a unique research profile in the social study of
science and medicine and philosophy of biology with a particular focus
on emerging areas of genetic, genomic and post-genomic science.
