[IMCnetwork] Arabic Monthly Immersion

Hello everyone in the Interpretive Community,

I am writing with yet another consecutive email - so please bear with me.

This is a short call out for anyone in this listserv who is either a native Arabic speaker or an intermediate/advanced Arabic speaker. A few of us have decided to start a monthly zoom meet up (tele-party) for Arabic speakers at the ANU community at large (and even beyond) - those who want to keep up their skills and maintain their language immersion. We will do so by reading poetry together, watching short television shows in different dialects (and in Modern Standard- FusHa) as well as Arabic films.
