Dear Don ,
I hope this email finds you well.
I am writing to you in connection with the annual journal The Global Community. Yearbook of International Law and Jurisprudence, Oxford University Press.
Please visit the Journal's website at: http://www.glocomyearbook.org/
The 2012 edition of the Yearbook is on OUP's websites at:
http://global.oup.com/academic/product/the-global-community-yearbook-of-international-law-and-jurisprudence-2012-9780199330003?lang=en&cc=it
and
http://www.oupcanada.com/catalog/advanced_search_result.php?title=&author=&isbn=&subject=&level=&series_code=GLOCOM
At the moment, we are planning the 2014 edition of the journal; the 2013 edition will be released on next May.
The Yearbook has sections devoted to ARTICLES, NOTES AND COMMENTS. Articles discussing on the building of the global community heralded at the end of the second millennium are included, plus select contributions touching on international case law.
Beginning with the 2008 issue, the Yearbook includes a section entitled "IN FOCUS: GLOBAL POLICIES AND LAW" that aims to explore the emerging global policies -and the norms implementing them- in various sectors of public activity and their increasing importance in building a global law (file 1).
The Yearbook includes also a section entitled 'FORUM - JURISPRUDENTIAL CROSS FERTILIZATION-AN ANNUAL OVERVIEW' aiming to compare and analyse contact points and differences between the decisions of the international courts and tribunals, in particular highlighting the new trends in various fields of international/global law (file 2).
I would be greatly honoured if you would contribute a theoretical article or a note or comment on a research topic of your interest.
Manuscripts should include an abstract not exceeding 150 words and 5-10 keywords.
Contributions should be submitted to the yearbook editorial office ( globalcommunity at tin.it<mailto:globalcommunity at tin.it> ) by October 30th, 2014.
I truly count on your outstanding participation.
I'd be very grateful if you would inform your colleagues about this call for papers.
Thanks very much in advance.
Hoping in your positive reply, I look forward to hearing from you.
All the best,
Giuliana
