Bringing together a couple Link threads, in Sydney recently I noticed
six Mercedes "smart" cars, stacked about 12m high on a steel framework.

This seemed more like a sculpture than a solution to inner city
parking. It turned out to be a promotion for a car sharing scheme
which uses RFID smart cards for people to unlock share cars parked at
inner city locations. Such systems used specialized software, RFID
tags and contactless smart cards.

Perhaps when you order the containerized prefabricated home at the
EcoCity, it could come with a car already in the garage
