There are some perfectly natural cockroach and pest solutions. Stink Bugs
(the ones that swarm on Citrus trees) leave accommodation very quickly if
you grab an old blender, a hand full of bugs, some chilli and a few other
ingredients, blend and spray!

Totally organic! Literally!

The lawn has started to regrow where we parked the cars fro several
years. And I mow about once or maybe twice a year :) As to watering,
nope, don't have the time to water a garden! It can live or die!

The kids water the strawberry's during summer, but that's about it. Mind
you in the last two years I've not seen any strawberry's, but strangely
I've seen the flowers. Must have some animals that eat them perhaps?

Yes, same around here :( Sad isn't it. And their lawns look no different
to mine. Actually mines a bit lusher and greener, and perhaps looking a
lot less dead from the fact that the plants have learned to survive rather
than dehydrate one day and hydrate three days later.

Not to mention our water bill must look good :)

>sometimes even just after rain.

After? Today I saw someone washing DURING the rain.

And today is a NO WATERING day!
