I was the UUCP map coordinator for Aus at that time -- a pretty
useless job, actually :-) -- and can say that some of the domain names
mentioned in the map would have been ACSnet names, and not necessarily
Internet.
A reasonable assumption would be that most names mentioned would have
been in both DNS and ACSnet (or at least covered by ACSnet wildcards),
but there may have been exceptions.
kre's policy for .oz.au DNS was that you had to be visible in ACSnet,
but I'm not sure if there was a corresponding insistence that
.com.au/.edu.au stuff in ACSnet had to be visible in DNS.
I really can't remember now how pedantic and anal retentive I was at the time.
