I voted electronically in the 2001 and 2004 ACT elections 
<http://www.tomw.net.au/links/20011022.html>. The ACT system is used 
to count all the paper votes, not just the ones from electronic 
polling stations. As a result it is probably much larger system than 
the Victorian trial. So to describe the Victorian trial as a first is 
misleading.
