ok, then: "most sites that i have encountered".

which includes the times when i leave the (mostly) pleasant surrounds
of the geek sector (where web atrocities are rare) and wander into the
mainstream 'net (where they're fairly common) or the weirdo fringe
(where, unfortunately, they're even more common).
