In mathematics there is a method of proof called reductio ad absurdum,
or Proof
by Contradiction.

This article seems to prove the assertion that the No Fly List approach is
absurd and hence invalid.

But then, when people have very strong beliefs, logic and evidence often don't
mean anything.

I'm always suspicious of people who know they are always right, I get the
impression that they are not prepared to change their mind or opinions,
whatever the evidence.

I reckon there's a few on Link, but I could be wrong.

>> The TSA's lists contain people who are dead. They contain
>> incredibly common names like "Robert Johnson." Even worse, because
>> the gargantuan lists have to be widely circulated, the CIA won't

>> Cathy Berrick, the Director of Homeland Security and Justice Issues

>> "They're not given all of the names for security reasons because
>> the government doesn't want to have that information outside of the
>> government," Berrick says.
>> "But if the point of the system is to keep dangerous people from
>> getting on airplanes, why would you leave some of the potentially
>> most dangerous people off the list?" Kroft asks.
