I've just shifted to Firefox from Safari and I'm most impressed
particularly by the plugin capability.
I was looking at Library thing http://www.librarything.com/ and had
got a display of books tagged by "peak oil" which I wanted to copy
including the linked URLs. I did a view source and all I got was the
page as downloaded which was without the list of books.
Then I tried it in Safari and got the page as displayed. A bit of
grep later via BBedit and I'd extracted the list I wanted.
But I didn't need to go to that trouble as I found in the developer
plugin of Firefox that there was a "View source" and an alternative
"View Generated Source".
There are also things called bluemarks which lets you mark any page
you want to or mark automatically anything you visit frequently. It
assigns keyword tags automatically which you can edit and add to.
these can be categorised and are searchable.
