there's a big punt Telstra is taking, in that they assume that they can
squeeze that last dollar out of the copper, and stop anyone else going
fibre first, which they only want to do the minimum spend on, FTTN, so
they can squeeze that.
if you think this will happen buy T3
if you think, as i do, that the frustrated competitors will offer a
better quality/price deal than Telstra, then steer clear of T3 as if it
has plague germs
and new tech like wiMax may make the landline argument moot
i think investing in anyone is a long shot, everyone's guessing, and
Telstra simply has the biggest market share, which could change.
my money is staying where it is.
