Thought this might be interested to some:

"the Information Commissioner's Office, an independent authority in the UK 
designed to promote access to official information and protect the personal 
information of citizens, this week issued a guidance document for organizations 
already using, or contemplating the use of, RFID. The document recommends 
against the collection and storage of personal data unless totally necessary, as 
well as providing public notice in instances where personal data is collected.
