We are natural voyeurs. All primates are, for very good survival
purposes. We are keenly interested in what other primates in our
vicinity are doing.

Add technology and you have the ilk of Big Brother and Justin TV.

But consider that there have been humans in cages in zoos around
the world for some time now. As well, I recall a complete house
being laid out on the streets of NYC, with pedestrian traffic
flowing around it. People lived in that space. Most found these
"captive human" displays quite interesting and instructional.

It is probably hypocritical to denounce Justin TV and at the same
time find merit in the Humans in Zoos.

Do you think any harm is being done by human exhibitionism and the
reciprocal voyeurism, beyond it getting up your nose, so to speak?
