that he's a product of a society that fetishises inane, trivial
voyeurism.

it's no better, and no worse, than Big Brother and other so-called
"Reality" TV garbage. it's more "real" than them (in that it's nowhere
near as staged or manufactured), but that doesn't make it any better. or
more interesting.

it's not quite as disturbing as gossip magazines (and TV shows etc)
obsessing about the private lives of "celebrities", mass-produced
plastic idols.
