Its probably been done many times before the Internet, but now the 
audience is potentially millions.  Its an enhanced model in as much as 
you can actually interact with him, that probably was more difficult in 
days gone by.

I am in my 'everything old is new again' mood, there's only variations 
on a theme, nothing really 'new' anymore!
