If this is the case then it puts paid to Howard's empty-headed
and short-sighted rhetoric that he is preserving "the economy"
at all costs, including our future existence. Anyone else feel that
Australia keeps this lunatic in power at our own peril?
Also, the SMH reports on the USA possibly becoming involved
in "global warring" to get its greedy mitts on it's share of
dwindling resources. The USA is starting to look like a carcinogenic
pathogen that the rest of planet Earth has to deal with. Here is
the country that wastes the most resources, refuses to come to
the table to discuss the very damage it is causing and then has
the hubris to threaten the rest of us with "global warring" to
maintain its unsustainable position. That's called psychopathic
behaviour in my book.
