I had one of these last week.
I got offered all kinds of services like DVD's and phone plans,
none of which I was interested in.
Then I was asked if I'd like to use the online billing thingy.
I said yes to this, since I thought it might be useful.
Anyway, her PC froze up and I took my chance:
T: "sorry, but I am trying to add you, but the computer is not responding"
R: "You're using a PC aren't you?"
T: "Yes"
R: "You're running MS Windows?"
T: "Yes"
R: "You are using Internet Explorer"
T: "Yes - but how do you know?"
R: "I can see you!"
Then she said said that she'd have to call me back tomorrow, since
it had then crashed completely.
And she did! Her voice changed from being very business like
to a bit shakey after the "I can see you" bit ;)
