Is this "Adelaide has bad water" meme still a "fact" or a "factoid" or just
one of those old myths that never dies?

As someone who grew up near and in Adelaide, I know, the water *was* dodgy
at some time in the past. But my understanding is that this all went away in
the 1970s when your typical water filtration plants were installed 'tween
Murray River and the city...?
