i think your point is misplaced.

i never said cricket or football or big brother etc were pornography.

i said that i find them as offensive as some people find pornography.

i certainly find BB and other "Reality TV" shows to be far more
offensive than all but the most disgusting pornography. pornography is
just mostly unpleasant rubbish that can be ignored, whereas mainstream
TV has major effects on society - whether i ignore it or not, it is
going to affect me and the society i live in.

cricket and football (and tennis etc etc etc) are just tedious in and of
themslves. it's the cult of sport that i find offensive.
