   I went through my CERT notifications back to April 2006 with this result:
	MS:         15
	Apple:       7
	Mozilla:     5
	Oracle:      4
	Cisco (IOS), Sun Java, MIT Kerberos, Adobe Flash:  one each.

   These figures by themselves do not really convey an accurate picture for a number of reasons, but it has to be said that recent Microsoft security updates do seem to concern a large number of products - seven in the above CERT bulletin.

   I forwarded this bulletin because I imagine many Linkers with MS Windows systems are not especially interested in security and do not subscribe to CERT, but might be interested to know that updates are available.  However I stand corrected.
