[LINK] using the net for promotion of a comedian

Just listening to a repeat of an interview with a Canadian/Indian 
comedian, Russell Peters, who came to Australia to do shows. He just 
said that before he came, the promoters set aside $20K to advertise. 
This guy said save the money, and let him do something first. They 
sent out emails to 80 to 90 fans who had written to him from here. 
Sold 10,000 tickets!
