Were the members of members able to "push the report". Reread this
and have a smile.

Regarding the government's report on Emissions Trading, though I
have not read the missive, reports on ABC/RN make it evident that this
issue is pure politicking and has nothing to do with addressing
and solving the problems associated with global warming. Howard is
delaying any implementation until well after the election, his numbers
are totally way low, and in this one instance he burbles something along
the lines of the problem and solution lies squarely with the Australian
people who need to be engaged in discourse on the issue, or some such
bizarre claptrap. The next news story highlighted Howard's plans for the
atomic nuclearisation of the Australian energy industry with nary a
mention of consulting the citizens of this fine country in regards to
this grave issue.

Good to see Howard putting his transparent and feeble cards on
the table months before the election. He seems to be getting pretty
good at digging holes lately. Let's hope he has the energy to
jump into them before too long. Although, there are many who will
offer the required push if necessary when the times comes ;)
