Perhaps, but it was certainly Centrelink to whom I was chatting and on 
whose letterhead the friendly notes were received.
If these shadowy departments are passing data around in the background 
(not that I don't beleive you, but why miss a chance for a ittle 
melodrama? ;)) then they are doing a half-arsed job, as they didn't get 
the full information to find out they were wasting their time chasing a 
cremated former partner. Tsk, tsk. :)
(Are we on topic? The topic must now be 'how do government departments 
transfer "client" data?')
