If you really think you'll like American style health care that much,
perhaps the advice is for the Minister to move to North Dakota. Of
course he'd have to take a citizenship test one day and I'm not sure
with his lack of brains he could pass.

Oh, and another message if you're in touch with 'Mr Ears' again. Tell
him that Victoria already HAS hospital boards made up of community
members and representatives of hospital staff. I used to be a member
of the Community Advisory Committee for our hospitals (Monash,
Dandenong, etc) and met most of the board. They do run the hospitals.
If Mr Ears is trying to address NSW problems, I suggest he deal with
NSW and leave his mitts off our Victorian system. If he wants to live
up to the Fed responsibility (sic) for funding, he could also pull is
finger out and meet their financial commitments of 50% instead of
somewhere around 40%.

And while we're on Ministers. Is there any defamation action that can
be taken against Hockey and Costello for their trashing of the
Sydney research team who spilled the beans on the effects of
WorkChoices (sic) on the lower paid? Hockey Puck looked the complete
dunce on 7.30 Report tonight, and Costello was worse on radio. They
should be ashamed of themselves. They are soooo desperate.
