More likely a more robust network, developed over more time, and with  
greater resources. It appears that fledgling US 3G networks aren't all  
up to scratch, either.

The media has picked up on the Swedish testing of the iPhone [English  
version here: http://www.gp.se/gp/jsp/Crosslink.jsp?d=444&a=440573],  
but many have interpreted the findings differently: or ignored the  
fact that the testing was of the antenna, not the entire phone or  
chipset.
