On face value, that's what it looks like. The simple solution is to  
ensure that the nuts and bolts only work on hardware that it produces.

I'm no expert on US competition law (which is what the antitrust  
argument is all about), but to claim that Apple has monopolised trade  
or commerce in this area is shaky whilst it's got less than 10% market  
share.

Pystar will need to prove that Apple is damaging the market and  
causing economic harm. I can't see Pystar winning (they don't have the  
$$$) - but if they do, Apple will most likely enforce more punitive  
forms of DRM on their OS, to the detriment of ALL Macintosh users.
