The physical copy of the Australian on Tuesday had an eeePC photo on the front
page and an article on the backpage about how some organisation had moved from a
$60,000 Linux "IT intensive" Intranet to one that the business ran for $400,000+.

I guess the real problem, in the NSW tender, is going to be compatibility with
education software. I wonder how much closed (ie only run on MSWindows) Teaching
modules there are in the NSW schools system.

For those of us who remember the CPM/MSDOS - DEC Rainbow solution - I hope this 
bloke is not a decision maker.
